Buy it Now. Their recommended maximum weight for users in this chair is only lbs. But, as I said in my unboxing and initial thoughts video belowI weigh about lbs. So, if you are right around lbs. Just like the Titan, the Omega can be assembled in less the 30 minutes.

And, just like with the Titan, you can tell that SecretLab put some effort into ensuring that the unboxing experience was a pleasant one. They give you a big huge poster-type board that has the step-by-step assembly process on it and everything is packaged and covered well in the box.

To me, the Secretlab Omega has been very comfortable to sit in. I also really like the PU leather that the Omega comes with. And, for the most part, the Omega delivers a very similar experience in terms of comfort.

If you want to see all of the main differences between the two Secretlab chairs, check out our Secretlab Titan vs Omega guide to find out which one is better for you. The arm rests on the Omega are identical to the arm rests on the Titan. So, I have had a pretty extensive look at these arm rests. For lumbar support, the memory foam cushion that comes with the Omega is really comfortable to lean up against.

I did even go a period without the cushion at all, and that was actually comfortable to sit in as well.

Maybe not ideal from an ergonomics standpoint, but I did find that I could sit in the chair without the pillow if I needed to. The chair also comes with a velour head pillow. And, it is the same pillow that comes with the Titan. It attaches to the back of the seat, and it is really comfortable to rest your head on.

The Omega can recline back to a maximum of degrees when the tilt feature is unlocked. But you do need something to prop your feet up onto when you do recline back if you want to fully utilize the recline feature. The tilt feature of the Omega is really nice as well.

Basically, you can unlock the chair at its base and, when unlocked, you can rock freely back and forth in it. From my point of view, the Omega feels very well built. The Omega is also available in a variety of Special Editions. You can check out all of the color schemes and styles at Secretlab. All-in-all, I think the Omega is another outstanding chair from Secretlab. I am going to compare the Omega to both the Titan and the DXRacer Formula series in two separate videos, but I can pretty much already tell you the gist of those two videos.

But, in any case, I think when you compare the Omega to other racing-style gaming chairs that are also designed for the medium-to-smaller body types, the Omega is likely one of the better options in that group. That is an affiliate link and if you use it buy the chair I will get a commission, to which, of course, I greatly appreciate. And, if the giveaway has already ended, you still might want to check out the page as lore olympus lemon are typically always giving away something.

But, that does it for this review.

Its 4D adjustable armrests, plethora of color schemes to choose from, and its build quality help it stand out over the competition. If you're one of the people who think it's clever to say "any chair is a gaming chair if you use it to play games," I'm here to tell you you're wrong.

secretlab titan 2020 review

OK, technically, you're right, but if you don't think there's a difference between a vanilla office chair and a high-quality chair designed for gaming, you are completely wrong. Let's start with all the possible adjustments. The seat height can be adjusted up or down a good 4-inches, tilt can be locked into place, or set to allow a free-rocking lifestyle. There's adjustable lumbar support, which I cranked to the highest I value my lumbar greatly.

It's similar to a car's lumbar support system, where you can expand or contract the part of the seat touching your lower back. A lever on the right side lets you easily adjust the angle of the seat back, from a fully upright, degrees of perfect gaming posture, to what feels like degrees, flat-on-your back maximum chill level it's actually more like degrees, but if the chair has tilt unlocked, it feels completely flat. There's also a memory-gel pillow with a faux-suede finish to cradle your head and neck.

The Titan comes with a three-year warranty, but you can extend it an additional two years by just posting a photo of your chair to social media.

For comparison, Vertagear and DXRacer, both offer two year warranties on their chairs, although DXRacer guarantees its frames for life. But the real highlight of the adjustment possibilities for me were the armrests. They move up and down, which is lovely, but they also can move forward or backward two inches. Another win in the adjustment department. But there's more still: the armrests can move in or out from center, letting you sit with a conservative, closed arm stance, or throw caution to the wind and go real wide.

But the Titan isn't done yet: the armrests can also move to one of three horizontal, angled positions: degrees inward, degrees, or degrees outward. The armrests are what really makes me love the Titan. I tend to change my arm position depending on what game I'm playing, turning my keyboard and leaning in for shooters, but leaving things relatively the same as when I type for slower-paced games like Minecraft or Civ VI. Having the armrests keep up with my changing style means I didn't have a sore neck from supporting my arm in some awkward position.

While I love the many possible ways I can sit in the Titan, the padding leaves something to be desired.Same Great Chair, Bigger Seat. The biggest name in gaming chairs is making its biggest seat yet. The Secretlab Titan XL is, for the most part, just a larger version of the Titanbut built for taller and heavier lbs people.

Both models have the same range of height adjustment via the hydraulic piston — 3. The seat is just over two inches wider, Beyond the seat itself, the chair is built to accommodate wider people. The width of the wheelbase has increased from Second, leaning back in the seat allows you to tilt the entire seat upwards while maintaining your back position.

Then again, I did fall asleep that way once. The leather has its faults, though.

Secretlab Titan 2020 Softweave ™ Review: Comfort Ascends

The Titan and Titan XL both have a unique feature, a built-in lumbar support system, rather than simply including a lumbar support pillow. That said, the support is definitely there, helping you keep your back straight for long periods of time. Is it the same as having a large lumbar support pillow?

The Titan XL, like the Titan, has a uniquely dense padding in its upholstery. My butt actually hurt after sitting in it for the first time. The armrests have what Secretlab calls 4D customizations, which allows you to slide them forward and back, rotate to one of three positions, and raise up and down. People tend to have strong feelings about whether they prefer armrests to be useful or stay as far out of the way as possible: These are definitely made for pro-armrest people.

I put the chair together in just under an hour by myself, which seems about average based on my past gaming and office chair-building experiences.

That said, the process is slightly more streamlined than the average gaming chair, particularly right out of the box. The instructions recommend you assemble it with a second person, and I agree: The two primary pieces of the chair are heavy enough that handling them can be onerous on your own.

That said, if I can build it solo, you definitely can too. The only hiccups I had during the process were caused by the instructions. The directions, printed on a large piece of cardboard, are easy to follow, but could do more to show you exactly how all the parts fit together.

Secretlab has a more thorough set of video instructionswhich cleared up most of my questions.

Razer’s first gaming chair is a curvier Secretlab Omega / Titan with fancy lumbar support

Cautious person that I am, that made me uncomfortable and slowed me down in a couple of spots. As I mentioned before, its very firm padding goes a long way to keeping you comfortable in a posture-friendly position. When lined up correctly with your monitor or monitors you can easily keep your back straight and your head focused forward for long stretches of time without feeling any bodily fatigue. I also found that tilting the seat back while keeping the chair back upright was a nice way to achieve a more relaxed playstyle.

As someone who can overdo it and play for longer than I should, the chair does start to become slightly uncomfortable when your body gets tired. Was this article informative?Stay away!!! This is a company with poor and almost non existent customers service no telephone which is selling poor chairs with massive effective marketing, with the help of lots of well paid corrupted Youtubers.

I was fooled and returned my Titan chair and had to pay lots to get rid of the hard uncomfortable piece of garbage. Disappointing at best load of We ordered a Omega chair for our son on 24th September with estimated delivery of 21st October. The chair was delivered yesterday 8th October, all parts correct with nothing missing. It even came with its own little toolkit and instructions to follow. He put it together with no problems and said the chair is great, looks fantastic and really comfortable.

He works from home all the time and a avid gamer. What can I say!!! Thank you Secret Lab, a thumbs up from me!!! One of the worst experiences Ordered two chairs as I gave into the advertisement hype and the reviews surrounding this chair however it has been nothing short of a nightmare.

I have never really written a bad review about a product, especially a one at a premium like this but I have had to make an exception for this. First, one of the chairs I ordered wasn't delivered, after 5 weeks of back and forth with customer service it turned out they simply didn't send it. Secondly, when the the missing chair arrived, the backrest was ripped and the multi-tilt functionality was broken out the box. I am now trying to get this sent back however the disassembly is a pain and I'm worried I am going to damage the product further.

I am still in the process of trying to get this sent back, if I could send both back I would as I want nothing to do with this company anymore. I am not looking forward to the process of sending this back and getting a refund. I would encourage anyone to look for alternatives because it certainly doesn't feel like a premium service and product.

My friend ordered here and got ripped off. Complete trash.Secretlab has just made one of its best gaming chairs even better, with the introduction of the new TITAN XL -- a new gaming chair that features everything that made the TITAN one of the best gaming chairs -- but now it's even bigger. The same award-winning comfort.

Now bigger. For an uncompromising experience that lasts for endless hours, this award-winning chair is unquestionably the gold standard you need. The pre-order wave 1 at the time of writing, was estimated to ship by January 17, or earlier. I fly a LOT for TweakTown and various events around the world, with millions of miles of travel over the years -- so upgrading to business class from economy is something I do through so many flights, thanks to frequent flier mile upgrades.

I remember always being told before I flew business class that "once you go business class, you won't go back" and damn it, they were right. The company has put them through tests of up torepetitions to make sure they can handle everything you throw at it.

The upgraded Secretlab TITAN XL gaming chair has a reinforced aluminum base that is larger than the regular TITAN gaming chair, so it can handle much more weight and feel more stable when moving around or flexing the chair all the way back.

Secretlab has also provided some improved XL PU Caster wheels that are more durable, and more floor-friendly. Seriously, whatever magic Secretlab is using for its new and improved Signature Memory Foam Pillow, I don't want them to stop.

The new Secretlab TITAN XL gaming chair includes the same magic-filled pillow, which has a coating of cooling gel inside that really helps on those hot days and nights gaming away. The memory foam pillow actually did stay cooler compared to traditional memory foam pillows. A really, really nice touch by Secretlab. I've recently moved office spaces and houses, so my entire work space has changed in the process. I have 16GB of G. It is definitely bigger and you can see that as soon as it's out of the box, but your butt, back, and legs can feel it within minutes of sitting on it.

Not only that, but I was sliding around my main room where my lab is -- all the juicy graphics cards and systems I've been slowly setting up to prepare for It's not something everyone does, but to me it's an important thing and defines the TITAN XL and makes it one of only ones capable of providing enough space to easily, and comfortably, cross my legs while sitting on it.

Just like the smaller normal TITAN gaming chair, the lush memory foam pillow really makes a difference. I have been waiting for a chair like this for so long just for the sole reason of crossing my legs, and now I have it. You can compare the design, the recline mechanism, the stitching — heck, just look at those nigh-identical 4D armrests below — and the inspiration is plainly clear. These things have a cult following which might seem a bit ridiculous. For that sort of person, forking out for a really good gaming chair makes sense and according to a lot of places online, Secretlab is the best of the best. Once you get past the garish designs and loud colours these chairs often exhibit in photos, there is no denying how comfortable they are. I seriously wish I had one of these while working from home through the COVID lockdown as it would've done wonders for my posture.

Yes, they're fantastic for desk work as well as gaming - even for watching movies, thanks to the reclining functionality. For that sort of thing, however, know they don't have lower leg support, so you'll want something else to put your feet on if you really want to relax in one of these. But the feel of the luxurious prime 2. Also if the eye-popping, out-there designs you see in pictures of these online turn you off, there are some quite subtle all-black ones available that wouldn't even look too out of place in an office.

And if you're into the loudness, you'll want to check out the Game of ThronesBatmanCyberpunk other franchise branded chairs they sell. Expensive gamer chairs are already available in New Zealand from brands like Vertagear and DXRacer, but I can totally understand why Secretlab chairs have the enviable reputation they do.

They're mint. The price they're going for in New Zealand is very comparable to those aforementioned rivals, too, as well as a lot of ergonomic office chairs available locally.

It's hard to nitpick any downsides to the Titan, but I do have a couple of minor gripes. A friend said the gold T on it reminds them of Donald Trump, so that's a bit unfortunate. Also, the leather is so beautiful I'm scared my cat will scratch it or my child will damage it. There's no protective seat cover I can find, but I might get a car seat cover that fits and use that. All in all, the Secretlab Titan has elevated my gaming and desk work comfort a great deal and I love using it.

For me, it's absolutely worth what it's being sold for here in Aotearoa - but not what people were paying to import them from Australia. Watch: Promotional video for the series. Credits: Secretlab.
